New team logo and name not enough as Madhatters 06 lose season opener in grand fashion to their Cross-town rivals Eperviers. Out classed completely, Eperviers came to play and the Madhatters 06 came to watch. Looks like its going to b a very long and reward-less season for the Tophatters fan club. Nonetheless, excited for the upcoming season, win or lose. A crowd of 6212 took advantage of the gorgeous day to watch their favorite football team host Eperviers. Sadly the sunshine was about the only positive memory at the Polo Grounds this afternoon. Madhatters 06 played the usual 4-5-1 formation choosing pressing as their match tactic. While the Eperviers decided to use a 3-5-2 formation with a normal match tactic. The Eperviers dominated the match with an 87% ball possession. Madhatters 06 Atyl Raystad and Ivan Sesma were the only players penalized during the match due to rough play (frustration). Eperviers won the match by a score of 9-0.
