The Sacred Grounds Project

The Polo grounds amicably known to FC Madhatters 06 fans as the "Sacred Grounds" has recently been re-baptized. The grounds, which originally held 12,000 spectators, now has the capacity to hold 21,000 Tophatters. Theodore Hammer VI who financed most of the $1.5 million needed to fund this project was at a loss for words when asked about the "Sacred Grounds Project", a philanthropic organization established by the fans solely for the upgrading of the grounds. "This is the only way I can thank all of the Tophatters, young and old for their loyalty and support in turning my dreams to reality", were the few words mumbled by a very emotional Mr. Hammer. Though the Polo grounds is match ready it will take another week before all of the tweaks have been ironed out. Possibly a day earlier or later, July 28 should be the magic number.

A Lighter Side.

A caricature taken earlier this year of FC Madhatters 06 president and biggest fan, Theodore Hammer VI who attends every FC Madhatters 06 match played at the Polo Grounds. Better known to friends and foe alike as The Hammer 06 for his use of strong-arm business tactics early on in his career. He has since mellowed and spends most of his time running his beloved Madhatters 06.

Fans choose patch for the Cook St. Hornets

The fans have spoken. After a month long poll the fans have chosen their new youth squad patch.

Well its been over a month that the FC Madhatters 06 administration opened their coffers and invested some of their hard earned cash into a new and much needed youth academy. "It seemed like the right thing to do, everyone is doing it. So we decided to join the bandwagon. We're proud and optimistic at what the future will hold. With proper management were sure that our investment will come to fruition. The Hornets have so far impressed us and their fans as well, by finishing a close second in their first international tournament in Montenegro early this spring." The Hammer06 was quoted as saying earlier today. When in town the Hornets will play their home matches at the newly renamed and revamped Cooks Nest also known as Cooks Park located on Cook St. The Hammer06 had this to say in regards to choosing the Hornets home. "As far as I'm concerned it’s the ideal place, most of the lads on the squad are from this area of town. Why go elsewhere." The Hornets are participating in an international tournament; their record so far is one victory and one loss. Matches are played Sunday afternoon local time.
