After many months, club owners have finally come to an agreement by deciding to drop "Football Club" and replace it with "Hattrick Club" on all products that display the Madhatters 06 logo. Therefore, no longer will the club be recognized as "Football Club Madhatters 06" but rather as "Hattrick Club Madhatters 06". The idea came a few months back when majority owner Theodore Hammer VI decided a change was necessary, something that would be original and describe the club in a more precise manner. Although, the idea was met with much opposition, Mr. Hammer received the votes needed for the change, making it legal early yesterday evening.
Vanja Cicvaric is out and the pleasant 34-year-old Latvian Kermantas Davjadas will take over at the helm. Not to take anything away from Vanja Cicvaric who did a tremendous job as head coach, leading the Madhatters 06 to their best finish yet. However, like every team in every league the objective is to win their rightful league. Finishing 3rd for the past two seasons has been nice, however, its time to move up in the league standings and the man to do it is Kermantas Davjadas. Coach Davjadas who played as a midfielder in a successful footballing career has carried his expertise of the position over to the coaching ranks. Earlier today I had the opportunity to ask coach Davjadas if his midfield minded approach to the game will lead to stalemate in the madhatters 06 matches. His response was "The objective is to win and matches are won in the trenches, therefore, I see nothing wrong with this kind of strategy. I do not think it will affect the games pace in a negative way, in fact I know it will be a successful and exciting approach to the way the Madhatters 06 prepare for; and play the game."
