Fans finally get what they’ve been asking for

New majority owners haven’t held anything back, after giving the old Polo Grounds a much needed face-lift they upped the ante by showing a gesture of kindness to the Madhatter fans and agreeing to change the name of their sports complex to the 'Sacred Grounds'. Theo Hammer VI seemed pleased with the change saying "The new owners have their heart in the right place. This is something the fans have been asking for since the start of it all." He also stated that he was saddened that early on he wasn’t in a position to push for such a change. Further, in a statement released earlier by the spokesperson for the Sacred Grounds Project Committee, it read "It is in everyone’s interest that the name of a sports complex should reflect the club and what it stands for along with the pride that their fans have for it. And we believe that in changing its name to the 'Sacred Grounds' we have accomplished this". Best of luck to our HC Madhatters 06 this upcoming Sunday as they play their first match of the season.
