A little Tophatters history

The original Madhatters were so popular with their fans that at the turn of the century a group of local boys decided to create a club in honor of their Madhatters. In the early days the Tophatters were a private club and accepted amongst their ranks only the stringiest local supporters. Both Madhatters and their beloved fan club lasted a good quarter of a century before becoming defunct prior to World War II. The FC Madhatters 06 and the Tophatters re-established themselves earlier this spring after an anonymous donor infused the newly created FC Madhatters 06 organizing committee with much-needed funds.
