First International friendly

One of the better games this season at the Polo Grounds, sadly played under horrible weather conditions. Though we were dominated for pretty much most of the match, the Madhatters 06 held their own and for a change kept the score reasonably close, something we haven't done in a while. Impressed by the Madhatters 06 creative play tactic, probably one of the reasons for why the match was so close. Hopefully they'll use this match tactic again in future. A crowd of 143 braved the miserable weather at the Polo Grounds to watch their first international friendly against the Mighty Diamonds. Madhatters 06 changed their style a little today by playing a 3-5-2 formation with a creative play tactic. The Diamonds as well opted for the 3-5-2 formation but decided to play normal tactic. The Diamonds dominated the match with a 79% ball possession. Both squads earned yellow cards; Etienne Bouchut of the Diamonds received one for complaining while Robert Giordano of the Madhatters 06 was carded for a dangerous tackle. The Mighty Diamonds won the match by a score of 2-1. Jay Lowery was the lone Madhatters 06 scorer while Maurice Rapid and Etienne Bouchut were the goal scorers for the Diamonds.
